Supported screens
Every screen Tessera runs on, with what each one can do. Screens that look alike can have different parts inside, so check the model printed on the board or its box.

Tiles per page for a screen lying down; standing up gives another grid, see Pages. Pictures means camera pictures, album covers, maps and the media library, which need memory the smaller boards don't have. Standby means the screen can dim and go dark.
What the status means
- Stable: the project tried it on real hardware.
- New: tried, but only a few of these screens are in use yet.
- Experimental: built and tested in software, not yet tried on the real board. Tell us how it goes.
On the website, owners report which screens work for them, and a board with enough reports counts as community reviewed.
What every screen needs
A USB data cable for the first install, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and power from USB. Relays or other extras on a board are not configured by Tessera. Mains-powered boards, such as the Guition 4 inch on its wall base, should be wired by someone qualified.
Touch
The CYD and the Hosyond have a pressure-sensitive (resistive) panel: they ask for a calibration on the first start and want a deliberate fingertip. Every other screen has a capacitive panel like a phone, with no calibration and edge swipes.
