Set up a screen in three steps.

  1. Plug it in. A USB data cable into your Home Assistant machine, or into the computer you are using now.
  2. Run the wizard. Pick your board, give the screen a name and click Install. Tessera builds the software and puts it on the screen.
  3. Choose its tiles. The screen joins your Wi-Fi and shows up in Tessera by itself. Drag the lights and devices you want onto it.

The next screen goes the same way. From then on, everything travels over Wi-Fi.

Follow the installation guide

All your screens.
One drag-and-drop editor.

Pick a screen, find the lights and devices you want, and drag them onto a page. Move a tile, resize it, give it a colour. Save & send, and the screen shows it.

Kitchen, hallway and bedroom each keep their own pages, all from the same place.

Home Assistant Voice.

Control your lights, set the heating or ask a question. Your Tessera screen listens and answers through Home Assistant Assist.

Requires a supported microphone and speaker, plus the Voice assistant plugin (dev app or local build).

Live cameras.
Right on your P4 screen.

See what is happening as it happens. ESP32-P4 screens now play live Home Assistant camera pictures, on a tile or full screen. Tap a camera to take a closer look.

On supported models, a built-in speaker plays the camera's sound in full screen too.

Your home's power, live.

The energy card shows where your power comes from right now: solar, the grid and the battery around the house, with dots that run faster as more power flows, and the devices that use the most.

It reads the Energy settings you already have in Home Assistant, so there is nothing to set up. Tap a circle for its history. It fits every screen, from the CYD to the 10.1-inch.

How the energy card works

A 10.1-inch Guition with the energy card on nine cells: solar gives 5.2 kW, the house uses 2.5 kW, the battery at 64 % charges and power goes back to the grid, with lines and moving dots between the circles and the heat pump, the fridge, the washing machine and the office around the house; beside it the weather, solar energy today, the EV charger, the battery and two graphs

Every sensor, a meter.

Show where a value stands as a ring with the tile's icon inside, a tape with one pointer on a ruler, or a bar of LCD cells that fills the tile. Each look fills the room it gets, from one cell to the whole page.

The range comes from Home Assistant or is your own. Keep the sensor's colour, choose one, or let two or three segments turn green, orange and red at thresholds in the sensor's own unit. New in the next release, on the dev channel now.

A 10.1-inch Guition in Dark mode with a page of sensors as LCD bars: the living room at 21.4 degrees on a big amber bar, the office CO2, the bathroom humidity and the phone's battery standing up, the house's power in purple, the CPU, the disk and the memory, the wind, the outside temperature in light blue and the bedroom CO2, whose cells turn from green to orange to red at its thresholds
