Created by Max, a maker with an eye for design, Tessera puts familiar controls and straightforward screen management at the centre of its design. The firmware and screen manager are free and open source.

A tessera is a single piece of a mosaic. The name refers both to the tiles on each screen and to the screens placed around a home.

Soft corners come from the actual interface. Unequal tiles reflect the freedom to arrange it. Blue, amber, purple and green come straight from the screen: its accent, lights, covers and presence.
