Problem

The tile that opens another page (navigation tile) only shows a single icon and a name. For a room overview it would be much more useful to see the room and its most important devices at a glance, without opening the page.

Proposal

Redesign (or add a variant of) the "go to page" tile as a room tile:

  • Left: room name (e.g. "Bedroom") plus a room icon.
  • Right / below: 3–4 small round icons, freely defined by the user, depending on the space available. Each icon is linked to an entity and shows its state (e.g. light on = amber, blind open, window open, alarm armed), like the round keys on the bedside clock page.
  • Tapping the tile opens the target page. Tapping an icon toggles that entity (or runs its tile action), configurable per icon.

Suggested behavior

  • In the editor: pick the target page, a room name and icon, then add up to 4 quick icons (entity, icon, tap action).
  • The number of icons adapts to tile size and board (e.g. 2 on a 1x1 tile on the CYD, 3–4 on wide/2x1 tiles or on bigger boards).
  • Same pastel colors and dark mode as the existing tiles.

Benefits

  • A room overview page where you see and control the key devices of each room directly, and open the room page for details.
  • Combines well with tabs (see separate issue): fewer pages, more information per tile.
