Opinion: Touch area feels too small (header/footer)

What would you like to add

I am testing this with Guition 10.1" display and somehow it feels that the touch area for smaller buttons (like back buttons and graph time ranges in modals) and page navigation buttons in footer are hard to tap.

This may be display-specific issue, but normal tile buttons work perfectly.

How about adding some kind of adjustable tolerance that could enlarge touch area around footer/header?
