Sensor data in screen saver

AUyttendaeleSuggested this wish ·

What would you like to add

I have the displays around my house. I really like the screensaver option just added but I would appreciate it if it would be possible to also show sensor state. E. G. I have one near my washing machine where it would be nice to easily see the price of electricity and the home battery percentages.

How this relates to Home Assistant

Use the displays more efficiently.

I would recommend creating a page with the bedside clock on page 1 or "home". There you can add entities, and when set: auto go home, it works like a screensaver

Glad you like it, @AUyttendaele! For anyone who finds this later: this is in ESP Screen Manager 0.4.81 (firmware 0.50.0) and newer. Open the screen's settings, go to Screensaver and choose Clock. Under the temperature, Add an entity puts up to four entities on the clock, in one line next to the outside temperature. You pick them from the same list as the top bar, and for each one you choose its text, its icon or both. To get it, update the app, then press the screen's Update.

I'm closing this one, since it's built. Tell me if something doesn't look right on your screens.

Got a screen running? Tell others which board you have and what works on the Tessera website. It helps everyone pick a screen that works.

Want me to keep building? Consider supporting monthly or buying me a coffee, much appreciated!
