More rows on 10" displays
What would you like to add
For 10" displays 5 rows leaves a lot of empty vertical space per card. Moving it to 6, 7 or 8 rows looks better.

A short update on this one. More rows only make sense when the screen uses its memory well, so that came first. With 30 to 40 tiles on a page, a few pages would have run into the old limit of 64 tiles per screen, and on some boards a heavy layout could even take the screen offline.
That part is done in 0.4.58 (firmware 0.34.0): the 10-inch now takes 256 tiles on up to 16 pages, every tile type has a memory price, and the editor shows a memory bar so you can see how much room is left. A layout that does not fit is refused before it is saved.
That gives more rows room on this board. @Heronimonimo's pull request #151 will need a rebase on this release, which changed the same board files. Thanks for your patience!

Five to eight rows are in 0.4.59 (firmware 0.35.0), thanks to @Heronimonimo's pull request #151. New screen asks how many rows a page has on any of the three 10.1-inch variants: five as before, or six, seven or eight, for up to forty tiles on a page.
A screen you already have keeps its five rows. It gets more by adding
GRID_ROWS: "6"(or 7, or 8) undersubstitutions:in its own YAML and installing it again; its saved layout moves along by itself, every tile on its own page, row and column. Standing up, the screen keeps its five by five. The README shows the same living room with six, seven and eight rows, rendered from the firmware. Closing this one, thanks for asking for it!
