Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-7B (7" 1024×600 MIPI-DSI, GT911)

I'd like Tessera support for the Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-7B as a 7" wall/desk panel for Home Assistant.

Why this board:

Large 7" 1024×600 IPS touch screen, good for a central control panel
ESP32-P4 with 32 MB PSRAM, fast MIPI-DSI with 2D/JPEG acceleration for smooth UIs
Onboard mic array, ES8311 codec + speaker amp (possible voice assistant use)
Extras: MIPI-CSI camera, microSD, RS485, CAN, USB OTG

ESPHome's mipi_dsi component already has a model for this board: WAVESHARE-ESP32-P4-WIFI6-TOUCH-LCD-7B
Touch: GT911 on I2C (SCL GPIO8, SDA GPIO7); the Waveshare Arduino examples probe 0x5D, then 0x14
Wi-Fi: the P4 has no radio; Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz only) comes from the onboard ESP32-C6 over SDIO (esp_hosted)
Audio I2S: MCLK 13, SCLK 12, ASDOUT 11, LRCK 10, DSDIN 9, amp enable GPIO53
microSD (4-bit): CLK 43, CMD 44, D0–D3 = 39–42

Already tried: I have not tested it with Tessera yet. I've only looked at the docs: ESPHome's mipi_dsi display component already lists a built-in model WAVESHARE-ESP32-P4-WIFI6-TOUCH-LCD-7B, and Waveshare provides ESP-IDF/Arduino examples and a BSP component.
