0.57.0 firmware works with the YAML override.

I first loaded the Sunton 7 inch config onto the screen, but discovered (after tweaking pinout etc in the override YAML) that the touch coordinates were not exactly accurate.

It seems that the touch driver reports somewhere around 480x270-ish resolution, despite the display itself happily running on 800x480.

Hardware testing

We often do not have this board ourselves. Community testing helps establish what actually works. A successful report is evidence for the maintainer to review, not an automatic compatibility claim.

Display and touch: 4.3 inch IPS, 800x480, mipi_rgb compatible, GT911 touch driver.

I forgot to mention - I'm not entirely certain how much of the override is necessary, but at least the substitution and touchscreen seem to be.
