Remove plugins from the plugin page
Right now a plugin can only be removed from a single display. On the plugin page there's no way to remove it completely. Once a plugin has been added, it stays there for good.
I've run into this twice now:
Renamed plugin: My own plugin is hosted on GitHub, and at some point I renamed it. The new name shows up, but the old version is still listed on the plugin page and I can't get rid of it. Fork with a higher version number: I forked a plugin at v0.5.0, made some changes, and ended up at v0.7.0. The original author then added my changes in his own v0.6.0. Since my version number is higher than his, I'm never offered an update, and the fork can't be removed from the plugin page either.
Suggestions:
A "Remove" / "Uninstall" button on the plugin page that removes the plugin everywhere (maybe with a warning listing the displays that still use it) Optional: a way to change a plugin's source repository, or to reinstall a specific version, even if it's lower than the installed one
This would make it much easier to clean up old entries and to switch between forks and the original plugins.
Thanks!
