Waveshare WT32-SC01 ESP32

Hi! Would you consider adding support for the original WT32-SC01 ESP32 touchscreen?

It uses an ESP32-WROVER-B, a 320 × 480 ST7796/ST7796S SPI display and an FT6336U capacitive touchscreen. The display and touch controllers appear similar to those used by the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-3.5, which is already supported.

I own a WT32-SC01 and would be interested in testing firmware if needed. Is support technically feasible, and is it on your roadmap?

Hardware testing

We often do not have this board ourselves. Community testing helps establish what actually works. A successful report is evidence for the maintainer to review, not an automatic compatibility claim.
