CYD 2.8 crappy resolution

Got Tessera running on a CYD 2.8 super fast, but man, the render quality is a huge disappointment.

I wasn't expecting miracles given the low DPI and color resolution, but it honestly looks like a 1995 Game Boy. Text is barely legible and icons are super pixelated/blurry. Am I missing a scaling or display setting somewhere?

I’ll probably send the board back to Amazon anyway because the exposed I/O pins don't work for my hardware setup (definitely a CYD issue, not Tessera). Side-by-side with a Waveshare 4.3", it's night and day."
