Smaller Seeed Studio Sensecap Indicator D1 screens for rooms

I have a Seeed Studio reTerminal D1001 in the lounge and it's working wonderfully.

I also have a smaller Sensecap Indicator D1S (there are several variants, D1, D1S, D1L, D1Pro etc), which I have got going with ESPHome myself but it would be nice to have these managed with Tessera as well.

They are an ESP32 S3 I think an RGB ribbon interface, this is the ESPHome section that is relevant:

I was hoping to use the smaller units in rooms, they also have a kickstand or you can hang them up and they have a similar green push button on the top as the reTerminal D1001.

Now there is a secondary RP2040 in these units for handling the sensors which is interesting as flashing that can only be done over USB, while flashing the main firmware can be done OTA. There is a way you select which microcontroller you want to flash. I've mostly concentrated on the ESP32 S3 and have a working config for that which can be adapted to Tessera.
